Welcome to our Lost & Found QR-based application ("App"). By accessing or using this App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Nature of Service
The App is a technology platform that facilitates communication between individuals who have lost items and those who may have found them. The App does not handle, store, transport, or verify any lost property.
2. User Eligibility
Any individual who can provide a valid mobile number and basic information may use the App. Users are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information.
3. User Responsibility
Users agree to:
Use the App only for lawful purposes
Provide correct information
Act honestly and responsibly while interacting with others
Verify items at the time of receiving
Note: The App is not responsible for user conduct or behavior.
4. QR Code and Usage
Users may:
Use QR codes provided by the App on their personal belongings
Affix your QR code sticker on your belongings while travel
Users are responsible for proper usage and placement of QR codes.
5. No Guarantee of Recovery
Important: The App does not guarantee the recovery or return of any lost item. The success of recovery depends entirely on the actions of individuals involved.
6. No Verification of Items
The App does not verify:
Ownership of items
Contents or condition of items
Completeness of returned items
Users must independently verify all details.
7. Communication Only Platform
The App only enables communication between users. It does not:
Mediate disputes
Arrange delivery or logistics
Provide physical support for recovery
8. Payments and Charges
Certain features of the App may be available on a subscription basis. All payments are:
Non-refundable
Subject to applicable terms displayed at the time of purchase
The App does not charge or control any payment between users.
9. Renewal Policy
All subscriptions under the Scan & Return platform are valid for one year from the date of activation. Subscribers are required to renew their subscriptions annually to continue using the services and maintain active QR code functionality.
A grace period of 15 days from the date of expiry will be allowed for renewal.
During the grace period, subscribers may renew their membership without loss of their existing registration details.
If the subscription is not renewed within the grace period, the registration may be automatically deactivated and the associated services suspended.
Subscribers may reactivate their account at a later date by paying the applicable renewal fee.
Upon successful renewal, the original Subscriber ID and QR Code will normally be restored within 7 working days, subject to verification and system processing.
The management reserves the right to modify renewal charges, grace periods, and related policies from time to time.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not:
Misuse the platform
Provide false claims of ownership
Engage in fraud, harassment, or illegal activities
Demand money or reward through coercion or misrepresentation
Any such actions are solely the responsibility of the user.
11. Third-Party Interaction
All interactions between finder and owner are independent. The App is not responsible for:
Non-return of items
Partial return
Disputes between users
Any form of misconduct
12. Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer: The App, its developers, and management shall not be liable for:
Loss or damage of items
Failure to recover items
Misconduct or fraud by users
Any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the App
13. Privacy
The App takes reasonable steps to protect user information. However, users acknowledge that communication involves sharing limited details for the purpose of connecting with other users.
14. Suspension or Termination
The App reserves the right to:
Suspend or block users for misuse
Modify or discontinue services without prior notice
15. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of appropriate courts.
17.REVISION OF SUBSCRIPTION FEES
The App management reserves the right to revise, increase, modify, or restructure subscription fees, renewal charges, and related service pricing at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App or renewal of subscription after such revision shall be deemed as acceptance of the updated charges. All subscribers agree to abide by the prevailing fee structure announced by the management from time to time.
